I want to thank Mark Hansen At Niche Store Builder for alerting me to this issue. But it seems that eBay has changed up something on their end that is causing link cloaking in Build A Niche Store (BANS) web sites to fail.
If you have any BANS sites up I encourage you to take a look and MAKE SURE YOUR AFFILIATE LINKS ARE WORKING! I found every single one of my sites that are running BANS to pull affiliate eBay product listing were failing.
To fix it simply go to your admin panel in BANS and uncheck the “Cloak Affiliate Links” check box. This will get you back up and running again.
Now for SEO purposes this sucks because now all of your links will be very noticeable that they are eBay affiliate links.
I checked my other sites that are running phpBay and they seem to be fine. I guess this is another nail in the BANS coffin and yet another reason to migrate to phpBay.
