Increase Your Affiliate Marketing To A Greater Degree Of Success

affiliate marketingThere are lots of different ways to market with affiliates, depending on your technical expertise. Also of great importance in your efforts is the product you are promoting itself, as well as who makes up your potential customer base. Working with affiliate marketing should not conjure images of spam. There is quality work involved. A strategy must be developed beforehand.

When a visitor comes to your site, they are prepared for information relevant to the topic that brought them there in the first place. Therefore, the link you put on an affiliate website should be spo0rts related to be of any benefit. Having link that are relevant to your target audience is always more effective.

Always have a social media strategy when doing affiliate marketing, as Google monitors social media trends. Social media is a factor in bookmarked sites and search results. Many popular social media websites, including Facebook and Twitter, use comments, tweets and other elements to create links to every page.

When getting involved in affiliate marketing, it’s important to work with an affiliate company that has products you truly believe in and would be happy to promote and sell. Entering into agreements with a vast range of affiliate networks will give you multiple lines of income. Being selective about your affiliates will provide some assurance that you will be able to work effectively and comfortably together for a long time.

Keeping up on current market trends is vital to success. If you are lacking the proper knowledge, customers will notice and they will take their business elsewhere.

Statistics that are tracking current traffic numbers and rankings are essential for running a good website. This kind of reporting lets you see exactly how many visitors you have had, at what time, and whether or not they made any purchases.

To be a successful affiliate it is essential that you learn how to market effectively. There are many people that jump at using the free options. There isn’t anything intrinsically wrong with this, but if the method isn’t effective, then the fact that it’s free doesn’t matter.

One very good way to advertise your affiliate website to a lot of people is to advertise in venues your target audience is bound to frequent. This strategy will give your visitors a way to find other links that are relevant to their needs.

Creating a separate website for affiliates can increase sales of your products and services. Always make sure that your affiliate program is presented clearly in order to increase your partners. Getting your page on search engines can even draw in new affiliates who haven’t seen your product before.

Use paid ads for more profits. Paid advertising can really help to boost your business. Increased site traffic means that you have more potential customers seeing your products.

When deciding on products to sell for your affiliate partners, focus your marketing efforts on the people who would most likely purchase these products. Low-click approaches can work for cheaper products. If your product carries a higher price tag, you should opt for focused selling.

Referral programs are worth investigating if they are offered by the affiliate marketing programs of which you are a member, so check them out. Certain businesses will offer better compensation if you refer other people to their company. Some companies might even give you a commission for a referral. Use your position in the market to build an active referral portfolio.

There is an undeniable spectrum of quality when it comes to affiliate websites. There are some that can be frustrating or just plain difficult to navigate. Of course, this is not the best case scenario; however, a website owner who is proactive won’t allow an affiliate website with a poor design to stand in the way of making a profit. You establish trust through this method and garner purchases.

Tracking Service

Starting small can be the best way to work your new affiliate marketing business. If you are willing to learn new things during the process, you will increase your likelihood of succeeding. By doing this, you will become more prepared to compete in tougher niches.

Use a reputable tracking service that provides accurate reports of what you are owed. There will be times that affiliates will miscount sales, and you will risk losing money. Constantly use a tracking service that is legitimate in order to save yourself from this dilemma. You may have to pay for this service, but it is worth it.

If you use these ideas, you will be able to find how to get the right people and make a good profit. As you work within the market, you will learn your own methods and techniques that may surpass even these mentioned here. It is important to be on guard against allowing your marketing plan to become too complex. Simple is often better

Know your audience when you’re looking for new affiliates. This will get you more visitors and tell your readers that you are an expert and know what products they are likely to buy.

Google logs sites and produces its search results while paying attention to social media. Twitter and Facebook are examples of sites that have links to tweets and comments.

Review Commission Ritual – Brian Johnson

Review Commission Ritual – Brian Johnson

commission ritualHey guys and Happy New Year.  It’s been a busy beginning of 2010 for me that’s for sure… and long while since I’ve posted here on my blog.  I hope you’re doing good in your businesses and things are looking up for you!

In thie past several weeks I’ve been refocusing on affiliate marketing and looking at my webs ites to see what can be done to better target buying customers and improve conversions.  Of course more traffic is always helpful, but if that traffic doesn’t convert you don’t make any money so then all of your work is wasted.

To help me refocus, I’ve been using a product released by my good friend Brian Johnson called Commission Ritual.  He released Commission Ritual back in July (I think) and I’ve been wanting to check it out ever since the launch.  Well I finally got around to it and man am I amazed! For $4.95 you just can’t beat the great material you get.

I first learned about Brian almost 2 years ago when I came across a video he had done where he talked about the success he was getting using an ebay affiliate software called Build A Niche Store (BANS).

A lot has changed since then, BANS is gone, but Brian is continuing time and time again to release really excellent material to help me (and a lot of other people) make money online.

The first product I ever purchased from Brian was SEO Press Formula.  This was an awesome set of videos that walked you through setting up your WordPress website and showed you how to get it complete optimized for search engines.  I still use the information he taught in that product to this day!  SEO Press Formula was well worth the investment.

This past July Brian released Commission Ritual and again he hits home with money making information for affiliate marketers.  As I mentioned earlier the price for Commission Ritual is $4.95 which is amazingly cheap for the amount of material he gives you.  Don’t be fooled though, there is a rebill of $92 bucks seven days later – but for the first week you get a chance to be enlightened to how you can turn your existing websites around using his method and start earning more commissions.

He also goes through how to set up groups of websites for maximum commission and income.  He reviews how to find keyword rich domain names, how to target buying keywords, as well as includes lots of optimized themes for wordpress to get a jump start on bringing in organic traffic.

Commission Ritual is a full coarse on setting up and optimizing affiliate websites with wordpress using organic search engine traffic. This is turn is used to help you make money using either eBay, Amazon, Commission Junction or any other affiliate network you want to subscribe to.

The one draw back I would say to the program is that it is focused around WordPress so if you build sites using straight html you may find yourself wanting a different product. The product is focused at the less technical folks too so if your an experienced marketer some of the material you may already know.

I have many many affiliate web sites and the material here has really helped boost my traffic by increasing my  organic search ranking in the search engines.

Commission Ritual has a ton of video instruction for you to follow that leads you every step of the way. He also has a nice active user forum called the commission ritual inner circle membership with well over 1000 posts to help answer any questions you may have (and Brian is there and answers them himself).

Brian has really helped me and my business make money online and he can help you too.  Check out Commission Ritual… for $4.95 (less than the price of a burger at Wendy’s) you can see for yourself and put some of his tips to use.  I think you will be pleasantly surprised in the (search) results!

Check it out here – Commission Ritual

I was recently on a conference call with Brian Johnson and Brad Hansen from ReviewAzon which was really cool. Needless to say next week I will be doing a review of Brad’s ReviewAZON plugin for WordPress and how I’m using it to build some awesome looking affiliate sites in just minutes!

Review: Godaddy Hosting versus HostGator

Review: Godaddy Hosting versus HostGator

I’ve been with Godaddy for quite a while now. I use them as my registrar for my domains, as a hosting provider and as my dns provider. The service offierings are vast and the prices cannot be beat.

However as my business started to grow I really started to notice a few things about Godaddy that made me want to check out other hosting providers and see if I could improve my website performance without impacting the overhead of additional hosting costs.

Introducing Hostgator

I had read about HostGator.com from several folks online and saw that they had a fairly large customer base. I searched on Google looking for anyone having issues or complaints about Hosgator.com and didn’t find a one.  I checked their pricing and it was about average – at the time of this writing they offer the first month for $7.95 and each recurring month at $9.95/mo on a month to month basis.  I had sent several emails to the sales team and technical team and both responded very quickly which was very impressive.  My last concern was performance and I wouldn’t really know how that was going to be without actually being a customer and committing to at least one month.  At $7.95 I thought what the heck, let’s give them a try.

Trouble with Godaddy

Now my issues with Godaddy were several. As my websites started taking on more traffic I saw a dramatic slow down in performance of all of my websites.  I have a background in computer networks and was able to perform several onine tests to each of my websites. They all passed with flying colors indicating at least the network was not congested. However things were still slow. Either the webservers themselves or possibly the databases on the back end were overloaded.

I sent several emails to Godaddy support and like with most large companies I  didn’t get a response back for several days. When I did receive a response it was very curt and only stated no problems were visible on their end. Hmmph!  Well, something was not right and I needed to find out what it was. Visitors were starting to complain!

Hostgator.com Here I Come

Signing up for an account on Hostgator.com was very quick and very easy.  Everything was completed via their website and my new hosting account was completely going in a matter of minutes! (easy sign up – check!)

Next I uploaded my root domain to the new site and WOW!  I immediately noticed a GIANT difference! Even my ftp login was lightning fast. Files just flew up to the site even while using ftp and my first site was running in no time. (files uploaded – check!)

Finally I created my subdomains and setup virtual hosting for some of my other domains. Each domain was just as easy as the last. Before I knew it I had a good handful of domains transferred to Hostgator and those websites were unbelievably fast. (sorry for sounding so hypey – but it was such a relief and so exciting to have my websites perform as I thought they should!)

In summary – Godaddy is simple and easy and is fine for extremely low traffic sites that do not have customer concerns.  However if you want that same ease of use, friendly support, AND have the performance to keep up with the big boys you should move to HostGator – you wont be sorry you did!

Review: Build a Niche Store

Review: Build a Niche Store

When I first heard about Build a Niche Store, or BANS as many people call it, I was extremely curious to see exactly what it was and how it could help me monetize some of my stagnant domains that I owned.

You see, when I first learned about BANS I was actually looking for a domain parking script. Many of my domains that I owned were simply parked with GoDaddy until I could get the time to build a site on them or figure out what I was going to do them. I was looking for  a script that would build a simple web page that could contain links or ads to other similar sites (And of course make a few pennys while I was at it).  My end goal was to hopefully just cover the cost of the domain registrations. I also really didn’t like the fact that GoDaddy was cashing in (even if it was just a few cents) on my dormant domains.

Then one day I came across http://www.domainparkingmoney.net. Brian Johnson, the owner of domainparkingmoney.net, had some very nicely done videos explaining about the benefits of BANS over domain parking scripts.

Now to start off, BANS isn’t cheap. It costs $97 and if you really don’t have an extra $100 bucks to spend it can be kind of tough to cough up.  But I decided to give it a try.  And to this day I’m so glad I did!  It has easily paid for itself several times over.

When I first got my BANS software, I was immediately impressed to find out that not only could I set this up for my .com, .nets, etc for my domains here in the United States, but I could also set it up for .co, .uk, .de and many domains in other International countries. Now I had my business hat on and I could really see the potential with this.

The installation was very simple for me, the documentation was very clear, and everything you needed to know to build your store was included. It walked you through every aspect of getting the files copied and getting your store initially configured.  The only slight issue I had was that my hosting provider was GoDaddy, and much of the documentation was not written for someone at Godaddy, but they did give some helpful tips if you were on a Godaddy server.

Probably the most confusing and scary part of the install, especially if you are new to websites and how they function, is the database creation piece. But I really feel the user manual walks you though this without any issues. Plus, BANS has a very large forum that is very active.  If you have any issues what-so-ever you can post a question there and someone will respond within an hour or so.

All-in-all, Build a Niche Store is a fantastic product, making setting up an eBay affiliate store a breeze. Most any niche will make at least a few dollars, and the software will easily pay for itself and the cost of your domains.  I highly recommend it for anymore who wants to start an online affiliate business or to put some unused domains to work.
